Local Jaunt

Took a short run today on some nearby water. Caught quite a few crappie and white perch, though nothing sizable enough to keep.

Unfortunately the outing ended a bit prematurely with a sudden thunderstorm that had me dashing for shore. By the time I had the bits and pieces moved from the canoe to the car, the canoe itself had filled with 4 inches of water. Will have to add something to bilge with to my emergency kit!
